On behalf of The Egyptian Association of Vascular Biology And Atherosclerosis (EAVA), we welcome you to the EAVA Lipidology & Atherosclerosis Fellowship (ELAF) Program.

 the EAVA Lipidology & Atherosclerosis Fellowship (ELAF) Program. This program, a unique, flagship program, is offered wholly online. It is structured as (10) modules, (10)-credits each.

We are very pleased you have chosen to start the next stage of your education with us, with a massive investment to improve our resources for all our candidates and to recruit appropriately qualified national and international clinicians to inform and deliver our curriculum, to ensure that all we deliver is current, evidence-based and research connected.

We aim to give you a valuable and satisfying candidate experience. To achieve this successfully, our experience is a partnership between us as tutors and the candidates.

We would particularly urge you to keep in touch with the Program Directors, Professor Ashraf Reda, (Professor of Cardiology, Menoufia University, Egypt). Professor Atef Elbahry, (Senior Consultant of Cardiovascular Medicine, Port Fouad, Egypt) and Professor El Sayed Farag, (Professor of Cardiology, Zagazig University, Egypt).

Admission is open for All participants in a Part-time Capacity. The program is delivered in (10) modules, each module will be available for a (3) week period and will comprise:

  • Recorded lectures.
  • Reflective practice on the national and international guidelines.
  • Critical appraisal of the available evidence with reflection on the local practice.
  • MCQs.
  • Final assessment following each module.

Registration package for candidate includes:

  • Attendance of the wholly online learning program

  • 9 Modules along 7 months accredited by EACCME

  • 27 learning topics during the whole program

  • 4-5 hours of teaching per week accomplished through

  • Recorded lectures.

  • Reflective practice on the national and international guidelines.

  • Critical appraisal of the available evidence with reflection on the local practice.

  • MCQs.

  • Final assessment following each module.
